I’m reading the Purpose Driven Life. The basic idea is to read a chapter a day – for 40 days. This drawing is from the 3rd chapter. The idea is to think about how purpose adds meaning and motivation to life. It also talks about other motivating feelings – guilt, anger, fear, greed… etc.

'Chalkboard Fate Game,' 2002

The Polaroids are from 2002. This sculpture was made from very large sheets of paper covered in chalkboard paint. The piece hung from the ceiling by 4 ropes and required 2 people to play oragami fortune teller. (Chalk and eraser were on the wall)
